Cibona dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Prievidza 's 28. Cibona looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Justin Roberson (187-1993, college: ULM) fired 24 points for the winners. Point guard Kresimir Radovcic (195-1997) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. American forward Davontrey Thomas (196-2001, college: New Haven) produced 22 points and the other American import guard Noah Reynolds (190-2002, college: TCU) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
